As the 2006 holiday season approached, we knew first hand how special a family would like this time to be, and also understand that while coping with a childhood illness, time and resources become limited.
In December of 2006 and December of 2007 our Foundation was pleased to gift American Express gift checks to many of the families who have a child being treated at the University Campus of UMass for cancer. Dr. Naheed Usmani and Helen Mullen, RN distributed these gifts on our behalf due to the current privacy laws.
Our holiday wish is that these gifts will help make some special moments possible for these families.
In addtion to these families, the foundation has also made direct donations to many local families in need.
